WordPress plugin, theme and site managers get ready

The more I see being built in to WordPress 3.1 the more I know you’re going to like it. We already talked about the internal linking feature being one of my favorite. Since it has moved to Release Candidate 2 that means the full release is coming soon and, like I usually say, I’m stoked!

Not to rain on anyone’s parade but plugin and theme developers test your themes and plugins now so you don’t get that wonderful roll-over rush.

Handling multiple blogs under the same account is getting easier, recovering or changing passwords much more coolified and there’s the admin bar running on AJAX at the top of the page for logged users.

It won’t be long now. In spite of reading at least one blog that said WordPress 3.1 doesn’t hold much for the common user I disagree and believe the “common user” will benefit from the changes more than the advanced users. Stay tuned, the release is eminent.
